Greetings from Leanne & Jeff!Welcome to your Canadian adventure! Jeff and I would like to welcome you to our family for your stay in beautiful Vancouver. Many adventures await you in this city from outdoor activities to shopping to night time entertainment at clubs, or movie theatres. Our house is located 2 blocks from the Skytrain (2-5 minutes walk), which will take you to downtown Vancouver, or any major shopping area. We live near a library and community centre where you can go swimming, exercise in a gym, or participate in the many classes that are offered. There are a grocery shops nearby that you can walk to. There is also a bus stop at the end of our street that can also take you in to downtown, or to the Skytrain stations. Our family enjoys hosting students and has had the opportunity to meet students from China, Japan and Mexico. We are part of a car club for Minis and often go on drives. We like to eat food from many cultures and enjoy traveling to see new countries. During the summer we spend time in our garden and enjoy taking the dog out for walks. We often head to the beach to enjoy the water. In the winter we enjoy skiing and visit a local ski hill just outside Vancouver. We have a medium sized dog named Nikki and a cat named Kia.
