Come stay with an experienced family that has been doing homestay for the past 9 yrs.
In our family we have 2 daughters and a cat named "Miko" who is very friendly. We have 2 rooms available for students. One is located in a suite that we have if you wish to cook for yourself. It is fully furnished with one Queen bed and a sofa-bed (hide-a-bed). If you are studying English and your family is coming over later to join you, this is a very inexpensive way to travel. We also have one room upstairs.
We have a maximum of 2 students living with us at a time. Each student's room is equipped with a phone, T.V., and internet access.
We live close to shopping, movie theatres, library, and fitness centres. A park with tennis courts is only 2 blocks away.
We live in a newer home that is located in North Vancouver and is only 2 blocks to public transportation. You can choose to go to school by bus or bus/seabus, which is a beatiful ride. There are many parks and walking trails in this convenient location.
