Welcome to our home!

The student’s room has television set with cable. There is high speed internet access the computer room.

There are no pets in the house and it is non-smoking, so you can enjoy the clean air. A bus stop with a direct line to downtown Vancouver is a 5 minute walk away. The bus trip into central Vancouver takes 35 to 40 minutes. There are no transfers, so you're not always waiting for a bus. That saves a lot of time for commuters.

It is a short walk from the house to the West Dyke trail where you can walk along the edge of the ocean and watch geese, ducks, cranes, and, often, bald eagles.
A short bus ride or drive will take you to historic & beautiful Steveston Village. It is regularly used as a movie set. Next to Steveston Village is the Britannia Shipyards. The Japanese fishing settlement there has more than 100 years of history!
There is also easy access to shopping at large malls such as Yaohan Centre and Richmond Centre.

Students are invited and encouraged to join in family activities and outings. We enjoy the sharing and understanding of other cultures. We want students who stay with us to feel at home.
By the way,I love to cook! The students always tell us how much they enjoy learning about cooking, and being part of the family!
