Hi from Vancouver!
We are young family with a three year old daughter and 1-1/2 year old twin boys. James is a financial planner at the Royal Bank, and Virginia is a stay at home mom to Annabel, who is in preschool, and Jonathan and Jeremy, who are walking now and trying their best to talk. We have a happy, healthy, home, and would love to welcome you to stay with us!
Our 5 bedroom house is beautiful, historic and comfortable, with views of the city, water and mountains. We are very conveniently located 10 minutes from the seabus which takes you straight to downtown Vancouver - about a 25 minute journey in total. Our homestay provides healthy meals, a friendly family environment, lots of opportunity for conversation, an amazing collection of video movies, (over 150 at last count!) high speed internet, your own living room and kitchenette, and help with your homework whenever you need it! Dinner time is our big family meal, and our time to get together and talk about anything that is of interest, but we also like to do big breakfasts on the weekends too!
We both lived and worked as English teachers in Japan for a total of 3 years, in Nagano and in Sapporo, and can provide as much extra help with your English as you need. We look forward to having you as part of our family! Welcome!
